- I find that more than one session of College/School Graduation Ceremony is offered by my academic unit. Can I opt to attend another or attend more than one session?
The College/School Graduation Ceremony sessions are scheduled by Academic Units according to degree type and major of study. Graduates should attend the appropriate session of the academic award only.
- I do not have time to attend both the Congregation and Graduation Ceremony. Can I just attend either one or choose not to attend? Will it affect my graduation status?
Attendance to the Congregation / Graduation Ceremony or not does not affect your graduation status. You can choose to attend either one or both ceremonies.
- I have confirmed attendance of Congregation/Graduation Ceremony in AIMS but now I want to make a change. How do I inform the university?
Please send your request online to us:
- I may arrive late. Can I still attend the session?
Both ceremonies will start at the designated time. Latecomers will only be admitted during appropriate pauses.
For the Graduation Ceremony, each session lasts for about an hour. If a graduate is late, s/he may miss the chance to go on stage at the ceremony. For the Congregation, you may miss the proceeding of award conferment.
